We worked on the animation and the final color grade for the music video 'Jaded' by Amaya Demont. The music video was shot on the RED® camera in New York and the post work was done primarily at 1080, though the animation scenes were checked at 4k.
The animation sequences had to have the stylized look of lipstick being traced across the city streets without pushing the hyperreal or looking cartoony. Dozens of textures and particle effects were tested before settling on the final look.
